Ri Song Ho, vice-chairman of the people's committee, made a report.

The reporter said that President Kim Il Sung visited the Kangwon Provincial People's Committee in October Juche 42 (1953) when the postwar reconstruction was in full swing and clearly indicated the ways for shoring up the economy of the province and stabilizing and improving the people's living as early as possible.

He noted that officials of the provincial people's committee have dynamically conducted a drive for implementing the behests of the leader, bearing deep in mind the great love and trust of the Party.

He said that the province built large hydroelectric power stations in the spirit of self-reliance and self-development, made innovative successes in all fields and units of the national economy and made fresh progress in implementing the programme for the rural revolution in the new era by arousing all the regional people.

The reporter called upon all officials to glorify forever the immortal leadership exploits of the President and organize and guide the work of power organs and the overall economic and cultural work as planned and intended by the Party.
