Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Greetings from Palestinian President

Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a message of greeting from Mahmoud Abbas, president of the State of Palestine and chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) on October 10.

In the message, Mahmoud Abbas extended heartfelt warm congratulations on behalf of the State of Palestine and its people and on his own behalf to Kim Jong Un and to the dignified DPRK government, the friendly Korean people and members of the WPK on the occasion of the 78th founding anniversary of the powerful WPK.

He wished that Kim Jong Un would be in good health and happiness and achieve greater progress and prosperity of the DPRK by continuing to wisely guide its people.

The message appreciated the stand of the DPRK valuing the relations between the two countries and supporting the Palestinian people's legitimate struggle for freedom and the independence.
