Workers and technicians of the Mundok Fishery Station built a "Hwanggumhae"-class iron vessel by providing materials, accessories and equipment parts needed for the building of iron vessels with their own efforts and by solving technical problems arising in building fishing boats.

Officials, workers and technicians of the Ryonjin Fishery Station have built fishing boats in time by meticulously conducting inter-process coupling and introducing advanced technology after fully providing necessary materials.

The Jangjin Fishery Station has made successes in building fishing boats by completing design to ensure practicality in close contact with relevant units and by introducing rational working methods including manufacturing and assembling hulls and processing accessories in a three-dimensional way.

Different units have completed designs on the principle of improving performance of fishing boats and saving cost and tapped internal reserves to bring about innovations in building fishing boats.
