Olympic Order Awarded to Jang Ung of DPRK

| Pyongyang, October 26 (KCNA) -- The Olympic Order was awarded to Jang Ung, honorary member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) from the DPRK, at the 141st General Assembly of the International Olympic Committee held in Mumbay, India. The IOC appreciated him, who has been active as its member since 1996 and as honorary member since 2019, for providing bonds of friendship and understanding through sports. The Olympic Order is the highest order of the IOC awarded to those who have made distinguished contributions to the development of the Olympic movement. |
