All projects for building and updating of model schools and kindergartens according to this year's plan have been completed throughout the country and the rest of the projects are being pushed forward at the final stage.

North Hamgyong Province has supplied hundreds of tons of cement and steel to the construction of schools and kindergartens every month.

Officials of provinces, cities and counties visited educational units that are left behind to solve knotty problems so that the remodeling and construction could be pushed forward as scheduled.

The Mangyongdae District, Pyongyang Municipality, provided thousands of educational equipment, teaching aids, sports and cultural apparatuses of over 120 kinds necessary for the operation of the newly-built Ryongaksan Senior Middle School and Samhung Kindergarten No. 3.

It also completed the remodeling of various schools on a high level by supplying building materials and manpower as planned.

Pyongyang Municipality, North Hamgyong Province and South Hwanghae Province are taking the lead in the work.
