Attending the symposium, held on the theme of "Improvement of utility rate of major farm machines", were scientists, technicians, teachers and others from more than 10 units including the Farm Machine Institute under the Agricultural Commission, Chongjin University of Agriculture and Sukchon University of Agriculture.

Presented to the symposium were papers on sci-tech problems arising in the manufacture of farm machines suitable for the natural and topographical conditions in relevant areas and the cultivation of crops and the improvement of their utility rate.
