The exhibition brought together more than 300 units in the fields of IT industry, metal, chemistry, machinery, agriculture, electric power and energy industries, light industry and public health, drawing attention of many visitors.

Highly appreciated were the achievements made in the research and development of advanced science and technology and their introduction and products presented by the State Academy of Sciences, the Academy of Agricultural Science, the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex, the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex and other units.

Present at the closing ceremony were Choe Tong Myong, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and officials and working people of the exhibiting units.

Vice-Premier Jon Sung Guk made a closing address.
