The monument tells about the undying exploits of the General Secretary who is making ceaseless journey of devotion for the people to provide the people with all blessings. He saw to it that another large-scale greenhouse farm for the people was successfully built on the east coast of the country as a leading one of the world.

With the single mind of loyalty to convey and glorify for all ages the great love and immortal leadership exploits of the General Secretary who spares nothing for the well-being of the people, officials and working people of South Hamgyong Province and the farm built the monument with deep care.

A ceremony for unveiling the monument took place on October 29.

Present there were Ri Jong Nam, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Pak Tong Chol, chairman of the provincial rural economy committee, and officials and employees of the farm.

At the ceremony, the speaker called upon all the officials and employees of the farm to convey for all ages the noble love for people of the respected General Secretary and devote their patriotic efforts and enthusiasm to implementing the programme for the rural revolution in the new era.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the monument, being briefed on it.
