The province completed the modernization of the Popdong County Foodstuff Factory, which started its operation early in October. On the basis of such success, it is now properly organizing the economic work to update all other foodstuff factories in cities and counties.

Officials of the province are striving to complete the modernization of the Kosan Foodstuff Factory in the near future.

Phyonggang, Cholwon, Kosong and other counties are pushing ahead with the remodeling of foodstuff factories, while providing necessary equipment and materials by themselves.
