The Ministry of Urban Management and officials and working people in the relevant fields of provinces, cities and counties across the country including Pyongyang Municipality pushed ahead with the work for remodeling parks and pleasure grounds.

Many parks in the capital city, including the Pothonggang Park and Jangchung Park in Songyo District, have been built wonderfully to give pleasure to the people.

In regional areas, too, many parks including the flower park in Jungsan County, the sports park in Hwadae County and the youth park in Kaesong Municipality were spruced up.

The Waudo Pleasure Ground and the bathing beach of the West Sea Barrage were remodeled and Songdowon, Majon and Sinhung pleasure grounds renewed.
