Whenever our Party faces the critical situation deciding victory or defeat of the revolution and its advance or retreat, it has brought a turning phase by dint of ideology, recording a proud heroic epic in the course of its development.

It is the historic review of the protracted Korean revolution that the revolutionary ideological offensive is a powerful weapon for working miracles as it helps create everything from nothing and turn impossibility into possibility.

The successes made in this year's struggle clearly prove that when the ideological front is seething with enthusiasm, the revolution and construction advance and when the mental power of the masses is fully displayed, miracles and innovations are made.

Now we are faced with heavy duty to proudly conclude this eventful year with more splendid achievements and successfully attain the high goal for carrying out the five-year plan set forth at the Party Congress by making uninterrupted innovation and progress.

Now is the time to bring about a fresh victory in socialist construction by further elevating the people's high revolutionary spirit and making the spirit of creation and innovation prevail across the country through a more dynamic offensive in the ideological front.

The editorial calls upon everyone to strive for a new victory of Korean-style socialism, holding higher the banner of the Juche theory of giving importance to ideology under the leadership of the great Party.
