More Young People Volunteer to Work at Difficult Sectors in DPRK
Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- Many young people in Kangwon and South Hamgyong provinces and Nampho Municipality in the DPRK volunteered to work at the honorable posts for the prosperity and development of the country and the well-being of the people, true to the resolutions of the 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and plenary meetings of the Party Central Committee.

More than 10 graduates of Wonsan University of Medicine left their native places where they were born and grew up, and petitioned to work at rural village clinics in various mountainous counties and hospitals in coal mines.

Graduates of Wonsan University of Agriculture volunteered to work at the Chonsam Farm in Anbyon County with a patriotic will to fill the country's granaries by uplifting the banner of scientific farming.

Many young people in Hamhung City, South Hamgyong Province volunteered to work in the sites for bringing about a radical turn in construction, and members of the youth league in Riwon and Sinhung counties went to the youth goat farm, the youth road workteam and farm, true to the Party's policies of regional construction and rural construction.

Young people in Nampho Municipality volunteered to work at major units of the national economy including the Posan Iron Works, the Taean Heavy Machine Complex and the Kangso Coal Mine and at construction brigade.

Paek Song Guk, chief secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials of the South Hamgyong provincial and Nampho municipal committees of the WPK, youth league officials and young people encouraged the volunteers advancing to difficult and labor-consuming sectors called by the Party, while giving bouquets and garlands to them.
