Land Management Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- In hearty response to the important tasks set forth by the 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, all the people in the DPRK are concentrating their efforts on successfully completing the land management project planned for this year.

Taedong County, South Phyongan Province, has pushed ahead with the first stage project for remodeling the Sampho Bridge and the repair of road extending over 70 kilometers.

Kusong City of North Phyongan Province has successfully completed the project for improving the Taedok River by arousing officials and working people in the city.

The completion of the project provided a guarantee for protecting surrounding farmlands from flood.

The city is pushing ahead with the repair of major road sections in the city.

Officials and inhabitants of the Masan Workers' District in Hyesan City, Ryanggang Province finished the construction of a retaining wall on the Masan River in a qualitative way and provided a guarantee for minimizing flood damage.

They are also working to sprucing up their villages and streets.
