The province completed the construction of the Sariwon City Food Administration Station and the Hwangju Dairy Cattle Farm and the remodeling of the Sariwon Condiments Factory. It is now promoting the work for face-lifting the Sariwon Tractor Parts Factory and the Sariwon Irrigation Machine Factory.

It is pushing ahead with the construction of school uniform and footwear factories at the final stage as well as the project for expanding the capacity of the Sariwon Steel Works and the construction of a modern tile factory.

Cities and counties in the province are propelling rural housing construction planned for this year.
