While pushing ahead with the work to secure scores of preliminary coal faces by giving precedence to tunneling, coal mines are organizing and guiding well the work to increase the proportion of the face work by machines and improve the carrying capacity.

The tunneling units and members of the youth shock brigade at the Myonghak Coal Mine have provided coalfields abundant in coal by applying advanced working methods.

Workers of the Tukjang Youth Coal Mine are overfulfilling their daily quotas by ensuring normal operation of compressors, winches and other machines.

Coal miners at the Ryongsan Coal Mine are producing more coal than planned, displaying the collectivist spirit of helping and leading each other forward.
