Attending the meetings were members of the election committees in the relevant constituencies (sub-constituencies) and officials and working people of institutions, enterprises and organizations in the constituencies who can represent the will of the voters.

The meetings fairly examine and judge whether the candidates for deputies have the qualifications for the people's representatives or not on the basis of their career, merits, qualifications standard and opinions of voters.

The participants fully exercise their responsibility and rights in the examination and registration of the candidates for deputies.

The voters’ meetings are registering those who received votes from majority among the officials and working people who have acquired ardent patriotism and the spirit of devoted service for the good of the people as their habit and are devoting themselves to the state development and the realization of the people's interests.

As of November 8, the voters' meetings for examining the qualifications of candidates for deputies to the provincial (municipal) people's assemblies were concluded in Pyongyang and Nampho municipalities, South Hwanghae Province and other parts of the country, and the work for introducing and publicizing the registered candidates is conducted.
