Present at the meeting were Pak In Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK), and trade union officials and members and workers in the city.

The meeting started with mixed chorus "Let's Love Our Country" given by members of the Workers' Art Group of the GFTUK Central Committee.

Kim Myong Chol, head of a workshop of the Sogu Public Building Construction Company, impressively told about the great benevolence of the motherly Party which put forward an ordinary builder as a labor hero and meritorious person of socialist patriotism.

Yu Kyong Suk, a worker of the Central District Building Management Station, told about the ideological and mental source that made her invariably go along the road of loyalty and patriotism while working in the same job for several decades since her maidenhood.

Ri Mun Sok, head of a workshop of the Ryongsong Sewage Works Management Station, said that only when a person works honestly all the time with love of his job, he can become a genuine patriot admitted by the country and remembered by the people.

Cha Jae Won, workshop head of the Pyongyang Trackmen's Team, Kim Yong Su, chief engineman of the Pyongyang Service Brigade of Engine, and Yun Kum Chol, a driver of the Pyongyang City General Passenger Service Enterprise, expressed their determination to further strive for carrying out their revolutionary tasks and thus repay the loving care and trust of the Party with loyalty, saying that they are leading a happy life with nothing more to desire at new houses under the benevolence of the motherly Party.

Song Chun Hui, work-team head of the Phyongchon District Road Administration Station, ardently appealed to the participants in the meeting to always believe in and follow our Party only and strive for the advance and development of the country with patriotism.
