The ministry has pushed ahead with the work to boost solid material and technical foundations of coal prospecting groups of coal mining complexes across the country as scheduled.

Dozens of drilling machines were supplied to coal fields in the western and northern areas and a large amount of drilling pipes to the relevant prospecting groups.

The prospecting sector is pushing ahead with the project to introduce physical prospecting instruments into the Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex and other prospecting groups so as to raise the efficiency of prospecting by 30 percent than before.

The ministry has hastened the construction of new coal mines and new pits by pushing tunneling forward and securing more coal deposits of great promise.

The ministry directs big efforts to securing more objects for the main tunneling process in different areas.
