Efforts for Increased Output Brisk in Coal Industry Sector of DPRK
Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- Workers in the coal industry of the DPRK are making a dynamic drive to boost the production and successfully conclude this year.

Thanks to their devoted efforts, the statistics collected by the Ministry of Coal Industry showed that production has increased by 120 percent, as compared with the same period of last year.

The ministry has made efforts to supply modern drilling machines to coal mining complexes across the country and raise the scientific accuracy of coal prospecting while securing the promising coal deposits.

The Tukjang Area Coal Mining Complex has pushed ahead with the work to secure tens of preliminary coal faces by giving precedence to tunneling, while channeling efforts into increasing the proportion of mechanization in the face work and improving the carrying capacity, thus raising the coal production by 125 percent, as compared with the same period of last year.

The Pukchang Area Youth Coal Mining Complex has carried out its high production plan by putting the management of transport lines on a scientific and technological basis and resolving the shortage of props and coal wagons by itself while increasing the rate of operation of equipment.

Coal miners of the Kaechon Area Coal Mining Complex have fulfilled their daily quotas by conducting the movement of doing one more shift and helping the next shift.

Those of Kujang and Hamnam area coal mining complexes, too, are striving to successfully conclude this significant year with increased output.
