Present at the talks from the DPRK side were O Kwang Hyok vice-minister of Physical Culture and Sports, and officials concerned, and from the Russian side were the party of the minister of Sports and a member of the Russian embassy here.

At the talks, practical issues for expanding and strengthening the exchange and cooperation in the sports fields between the two countries were discussed and a 2024-2026 exchange plan was signed.

During their stay, the Russian minister of Sports and his party visited the Tower of the Juche Idea, the Arch of Triumph, etc. and toured Kim Il Sung Stadium, the Weightlifting Gymnasium and the Table-Tennis Gymnasium in Chongchun Street and other sports facilities.
