The provincial rural economy committee is striving to secure farming equipment and materials for next year’s farming.

Officials have been dispatched to farms in cities and counties to timely tackle the knotty problems.

With priority given to increasing the operational rate of tractors, Sinuiju City and Yomju and Tongrim counties have carried out their daily ploughing plans.

The agricultural workers in Uiju and Cholsan counties direct efforts to securing raw materials for huminite and producing fermented manure.

Those of Thaechon, Pakchon and Chonma counties endeavor to improve the low-yielding farm fields.

Other parts of the province, too, have turned out in making thorough preparations for next year’s farming.
