Present there were Premier Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the National Sports Guidance Committee, Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, officials of the National Sports Guidance Committee, officials concerned, players, coaches and their families.

Kim Tok Hun made a congratulatory speech at the reception.

On behalf of the DPRK government, he warmly congratulated all the players and coaches who added pleasure to the whole country by winning the 19th Asian Games and flying the dignified national flags of the DPRK in the sky of the world.

He called upon all sportspersons to redouble their efforts to repay the Party's love and trust with more gold medals, always remembering the honor of today.

Player Kang Hyon Gyong in her reply speech expressed her determination to put spurs to training and thus continue to fly the national flag in future international games.
