On display at the exhibition were sci-tech achievements made in the course of consolidating the material and technical foundation of the public health sector and improving the quality of medical service, true to the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Units of the Academy of Medical Science, the Okryu Children's Hospital, the Pyongyang Municipal General Hospital No. 2 and the Moranbong District Hospital were highly appreciated at the exhibition.

At the sci-tech presentation, research achievements made in shortening the period of treatment by introducing advanced treatment methods and in taking correct diagnosis of various diseases and treatment measures and developing new medicines drew the attention of people.

Present at the closing ceremony were Vice-Premier Jon Sung Guk, Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea Choe Tong Myong, officials concerned, scientists, technicians, members of the three-revolution teams and others.

Diplomas, certificates and prizes were awarded to the units and participants who were highly appreciated at the exhibition.
