Winter Campaign for Timber Production Starts in DPRK

| Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- Forestry stations and mine timber production stations of the Jagang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau in the DPRK push ahead with the timber production. The workers of the provincial forestry management bureau started the winter timber production, carrying out their daily plan at over 130 percent. The Hwaphyong Forestry Station has increased the production 1.2 times as against the same period of last year. The Songwon Mine Timber Production Station has fulfilled its daily plan while keeping the balance between timber production and tree planting. Similar successes are witnessed at the Songgan Forestry Station, the Tongsin Mine Timber Production Station and other stations. |
