Each province has gained a great deal of experience in establishing dairy production process at the foodstuff factories in cities and counties. It is now expanding such successes to rural areas.

All the provinces have produced more equipment for producing milk powder and yoghurt than planned and supplied them to rural areas.

North Hamgyong Province supplied equipment for producing milk powder to all its rural areas.

South Hamgyong Province, too, is pushing ahead with the work to produce such equipment for its rural areas.

North Phyongan Province equipped hundreds of rural areas with the facilities for producing yogurt last year. This year, it has provided over 270 rural areas with equipment for producing milk powder.

Similar progress has been made in other provinces and municipalities of the country.
