Presentation on Achievements Made in Soybean Farming Held

Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- A presentation on the achievements in soybean farming was held through video conferencing on December 5-6 under the sponsorship of the Korean Agricultural Technology Association of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

Attending it were officials, scientists, technicians and teachers of more than 30 units including the Dry-field Crop Research Institute of the Academy of Agricultural Science, Wonsan University of Agriculture and the North Hamgyong Provincial Rural Economy Committee.

It heard scores of valuable essays which have made contribution to increasing the productivity of soybean by introducing different cultivation methods for raising the per hectare yield.

During the presentation there was a lecture on the cultivation technology for overcoming the effect of disastrous abnormal weather.
