Pang Un Chol took the first place in the men's 55 kg category with the lift of 116 kg in the snatch and 152 kg in the jerk, 268 kg in total. Won Hyon Sim took the first place in the women's 45kg category, with the lift of 82 kg in the snatch and 99 kg in the jerk, 181 kg in total.

Meanwhile, Ri Song Gum won a gold medal in the jerk of the women's 49 kg category and came second in total standings.
