Officials of the institute have directed efforts to the organizational and political work and the provision of conditions for research so that its researchers can devote their wisdom and passion to breeding good strains and establishing advanced farming technology.

The researchers studied good rice varieties highly resistant to disease and good strains of wheat, maize, potato and bean, carrying out research conducive to the agricultural production in the province.

By intensifying research they bred seedless variety of persimmon and new varieties of cabbage and radish rich in vitamins, carbohydrates and minerals.

The institute solved sci-tech problems arising in applying the method of sterilizing rice seeds and the method of producing virus-free potato seeds meeting local characteristics, and organized a provincial show and technical transfer.

The program for supporting scientific farming conducive to ensuring scientific accuracy, promptness and accuracy of farming guidance and management is also associated with the researchers' enterprising efforts devoted to the regional agricultural development.
