DPRK Proves Successful at IWF Grand Prix

| Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- DPRK weightlifter Ri Won Ju took the first place at the 2023 IWF Grand Prix. In the men's 67kg category event on Dec. 7, he lifted 139kg in snatch, 178 kg in jerk and 317 kg in total to win gold medals in jerk and total and bronze medal in snatch. Another player Kim Il Gyong came second each in snatch, jerk and total of the women's 59kg category event on Dec. 8. |
