Education in Revolutionary Spirit of Paektu Brisk in DPRK
Pyongyang, December 11 (KCNA) -- Youth and students from across the DPRK are making a study tour of revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu.

They visited the Samjiyon Grand Monument, where they laid a floral basket and bouquets and made a deep bow before the statue of President Kim Il Sung.

They looked round the groups of subsidiary theme sculptures depicting in a deep ideological and artistic manner the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters who found themselves in the bloody battles of the hard-fought anti-Japanese war under the guidance of the President, and those showing the noble mentality of the Korean people.

Being briefed on the fact that the President convened a meeting of commanding officers of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army and set forth the militant tasks for advancing into the area of Taehongdan, they looked round the site of the headquarters, the site of campfire, etc. at the Mupho Bivouac.

At the Mupho Angling Site where Chairman Kim Jong Il mapped out a far-reaching plan for modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism, they learned about the exploits of the peerlessly great man.

Then they toured the area of Taehongdan.

They camped in the forests at the foot of Mt Paektu.

They also conducted colorful political and cultural activities during the march.

On December 10, they climbed Mt Paektu after making a long study tour of the Paektu area, hardening their mind with the soul and spirit of Paektu in the biting cold of the area.
