Present there were officials of the youth league in Pyongyang, provinces, cities and counties and principals of schools, instructors of youth league and children's union organizations and schoolchildren who set an example in raising rabbits.

The show was held by examining and evaluating new strains of rabbits, mixed feed and veterinary medicines bred and produced by schoolchildren across the country during their extra-curricular time, true to the Party policy.

The workshop heard the experience gained in securing good strains and taking thorough veterinary and anti-epizootic measures to suit the physiological characteristics of rabbits to reduce the mortality rate and in laying material and technical foundations including feed processing equipment.

There took place a multimedia show dealing with the deeds of schoolchildren of different schools actively waging the movement for rabbit breeding and a question-and-answer study contest.

Citation went to the highly appreciated units and exemplary schoolchildren and prizes were given to them.
