This year, the province launched the work to make signal progress in implementing the Workers' Party of Korea's childcare policy and thus provided tens of equipment for producing milk powder and hundreds of equipment for producing yogurt.

It set an example in building a yogurt production base and encouraged all the units to learn from it, while sending locally-made equipment to cities, counties and rural villages.

As a result, farms and industrial establishments in the province that have nurseries and kindergartens were equipped with enough facilities to produce and supply much more dairy products to children.

The province is now directing steady efforts to further consolidating the production foundation for dairy products.
