The committee directs primary efforts to ensuring that the commanding units organized by ministries, national institutions and provincial, city and county people's committees fulfill their responsibility and role in preventing snow slide.

Officials of the committee are learning about the preparations for minimizing the damage in the areas vulnerable to heavy snow and snow slide and intensifying the guidance to ensure that the commanding units improve their ability to cope with crisis.

All the regions and units are taking thorough measures to remove all the elements of danger to be caused by heavy snow, snow slide and strong wind while preparing equipment and apparatuses needed for clearing away snow.

The committee is also intensifying the work to properly operate the natural disaster warning and rescue systems.

It is also ensuring that all the regions and units maintain the normal operation of the unique natural disaster warning system and strengthening the information communication system to transfer real-time meteorological data in liaison with the Hydro-meteorological Administration.

Meanwhile, the work to readjust the rescue system is going on.
