In the plaza before the statue of President Kim Il Sung at the Samjiyon Grand Monument on December 12, they held an oath-taking meeting to steadily carry forward the march started from Mt Paektu under the guidance of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.

They entered the venue of the meeting with torches in their hands.

Present there were Kang Sin Chang, secretary of the Ryanggang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials of the youth league and members of the study tour group.

At the meeting, speakers expressed their determination to take the lead in opening up the road of advance toward victory and prosperity, bearing in mind the deep trust of the Party which once again called them into the sacred place of Paektu, a grand open-air museum for education in the revolutionary traditions.

They called upon all the youths to vigorously advance for the victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche, holding fast to the torch of Juche raised by President Kim Il Sung and the torch of revolution provided by Chairman Kim Jong Il.

The cheers of the participants reciting the full-length epic "Mt Paektu" and singing the revolutionary songs in response to the revolutionary slogans resounded far and wide.
