New Dwelling Houses Built in Countryside of DPRK
Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- Socialist ideal villages spring up one after another at farms along the demarcation line, demonstrating the Korean-style civilization in the era of great changes.

More than 110 blocks of single-floored, low-storied and terraced dwelling houses for 300 households have been built in different villages of the Tokam Farm under the Kaesong Municipal Rural Economy Committee. They have all amenities to provide convenience for the living of agricultural workers. Trees of good species were planted to add beauty to the surrounding landscape.

A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on Wednesday.

Present there were Jang Myong Gi, secretary of the Kaesong Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, builders and agricultural workers moving into new houses.

Choe Kyong Nam, chairman of the Kaesong Municipal People's Committee, made a congratulatory speech.

Then licenses for the use of houses were handed over and speeches were made.

A cheerful dancing party started and people began moving into new houses. Officials visited the families of working people moving into new houses to congratulate them and share joy with them.
