The completion of the air club with runways, outdoor training ground and other facilities will provide another guarantee for boosting the country's air sports technique to a higher level through brisk air sports training and dissemination of technology.

An inauguration ceremony of the air club took place on Wednesday.

Present there were Kim Myong Guk, secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, builders, coaches and players of the air club and working people in the province.

Ri Song Ho, vice-chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People's Committee, made an inauguration address.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the air club and watched the stunt flight of model aircraft.
