The sports games, held between staff members of the Cabinet and the Ministry of National Defence on the occasion of the greatest auspicious Day of the Shining Star and Day of the Sun, were watched by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un whom they yearned to see so much. Occasioned by them, unprecedented enthusiasm for sports began to sweep the whole country.

A series of mass sports games held all the year round fully demonstrated the validity and vitality of the Workers' Party of Korea's policy on making sports mass-based and part of everyday life, and added to the joy and optimism prevailing whole society.
