The completion of the power station made a breakthrough in the construction of several army-people power stations in the province and laid a foundation for developing the regional industry and livestock breeding which are of great significance in improving the material and cultural living standards of the people in Sepho County.

Its inauguration ceremony took place on December 15.

Present there were Kim Myong Chol, secretary of the Kangwon Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials, working people and builders in the province and employees of the power station.

Kim Kwang Chol, vice-chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People's Committee, made an inauguration address.
