Attending it were personages of Russian government, parliament, political parties, organizations and institutions, including the State Duma, the Foreign Ministry, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Liberal Democratic Party, the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK, the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation, the Korean War Veterans' Council, the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Academy of Sciences, members of the United Confederation of Koreans in Russia and the Group for International Solidarity with the DPRK and the DPRK ambassador to Russia and his embassy members.

Prior to the meeting, the participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il standing together at the venue of the meeting, and paid tribute to them.

And they looked round photos dealing with exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the development of the friendly relations between the DPRK and Russia.

At the meeting, they paid a silent tribute in memory of Kim Jong Il.
