The factory has turned into a modern foodstuff producer in which processes for fermentation and yogurt and milk powder production and automatic control system have been established, thus contributing to the improvement of the people's diet.

Ri Yong Chol, chairman of the North Phyongan Provincial People's Committee, Sin Tong Chol, secretary of the provincial Party committee, and officials concerned went round the factory.
