The completion of the factory equipped with various processes for producing soybean sauce, soybean paste, confectionery, corn syrup, etc. provided another material and technical foundation for substantially contributing to the improvement of the people's standard of living by increasing the production of tasty foodstuffs.

An inaugural ceremony of the factory took place on the spot on Monday.

Attending the ceremony were Kim Sok Jun, secretary of the North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials and working people in the province and Songrim City and employees of the factory.

Kim Son Il, chairman of the provincial people's committee, made an inaugural address.
