82 civic and public organizations, including the "headquarters of the all-people movement for the impeachment of Yoon Suk Yeol", the People's Action, the Emergency Situation Council and the Confederation of Trade Unions, formed emergency action to further intensify the public candlelight campaign demanding the resignation of traitor Yoon.

People from all walks of life, including workers, peasants, youth and students and religionists, have turned out in the struggle.

Demonstrators chanted such slogans as "Let us preserve peace by booting Yoon out of power!", "We disapprove of Yoon's exercise of veto in disregard of public mindset!" and "Let us drum Yoon out of presidency!"

Organizations of various circles in Seoul, Pusan, Ulsan, Jeju and other parts of the region held rallies on Dec. 16 to declare the intensified struggle for ousting traitor Yoon from power.

Speakers there called for pooling all people's strength to oust incompetent Yoon following foreign forces, bring down his dictatorship backed by the prosecution, protect the people's livelihood and build true human society.

The 69th candlelight rally and demonstration took place in Seoul on the same day.

Despite the biting cold, many citizens took part in the demonstration to give vent to their anger at traitor Yoon and his wife and declared their will to bring the spring of impeaching the traitor in 2024 at any cost.

A co-representative of the candlelight action and other participants in the campaign accused Yoon's group of kowtowing to the U.S. and Japan, exposing people to the danger of war, spoiling diplomacy and deteriorating the people's living.

Representatives of the Ansan candlelight action, the Puan candlelight action and the Puchon candlelight action jointly read out a resolution of struggle.

The resolution said that people of all social standings would get united closely to form a vast sea of candlelight for the impeachment of Yoon.

Then the participants marched, chanting slogans calling for impeaching swindler Yoon, dissolving his party "People's Power", descendant of military gangster Chun Doo Hwan, and making a special inspection of Kim Kon Hui, special-class criminal.
