Chairman Kim Jong Il sent a wreath, not forgetting the 70th anniversary of demise of Zhang Weihua, a Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle who has been remembered by the DPRK people along with the revolutionary career of President Kim Il Sung. Whenever an opportunity presented itself, he invited his bereaved families to the DPRK to have a good time.

In December Juche 83 (1994) when he was told about the death of Ya. T. Nobichenko, an internationalist soldier who safeguarded the President just after the liberation of Korea from Japan's colonial rule, the Chairman sent a message of condolence and a wreath and saw to it that condolence money was sent on behalf of the DPRK government. Later, he met the bereaved family during his visit to the Russian Federation and presented it with gift.

His warm love also reached the families of Nikolai Ryashenko of the former Soviet Union, Guy Dupre of France, Genaro Carnero Checa of Peru, Giancarlo Elia Valori of Italy and other personages of different countries.

Hearing the news that a Panama merchant ship was wrecked in distress, the Chairman dispatched a helicopter of the air force of the Korean People's Army to rescue its sailors. He also sent a competent doctor and precious medicines to Govind Narain Srivastava of India when the latter was to undergo an operation at a hospital in a third country after having fallen into a critical condition.

During the 13th World Festival of Youth and Students, he saw to it that birthday spreads were arranged for delegates from different countries.

When foreign women gave birth to children after receiving medical service at the Pyongyang Maternity Hospital, he even named those children Jindallae, Solmae, Saebyol and Solgwang.

Indeed, his warm humanity was the noblest one as it transcended differences in ideology, system, nationality, race, religious belief and political view.

Along with the legends of his boundless love for the world people, he is always alive in the hearts of mankind.
