A ceremony for presenting multiple rocket launchers "Taehaksaengchongnyon" (university and college students) was held at the plaza of the April 25 House of Culture on Dec. 19.

It was attended by Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, youth league officials, service members and university students.

Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, made a presentation address.

He said that the presentation ceremony is taking place at the triumphant time when the launch drill of ICBM Hwasongpho-18 was conducted under the wise guidance of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un to strikingly show the DPRK nuclear strategic force's overwhelming counteraction will and matchless strength to the enemies.

The multiple rocket launchers reflect the steadfast spirit of defending the country and ardent patriotism of the young vanguards keeping pace with the respected fatherly Marshal who has made a ceaseless journey of devoted efforts, shouldering the destiny of the country and people, the speaker stressed.

He called on the university and college students to more courageously turn out in the patriotic work for increasing the country's military strength in every way and to become pioneers and standard-bearers of creation and change in the struggle for bringing about the overall development in the Korean-style socialist construction.

A presentation document was handed over to an officer of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and speeches were made.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants enjoyed a performance by a traveling student agitation troupe

Then amid warm send-off by university students, the multiple rocket launchers left for KPA units.
