The center has been built into a good sanitary and anti-epidemic base of the country, thus putting the pathogenic microorganism test on a standardized and scientific basis and laying a foundation for observing, controlling and managing the inflow, occurrence and spread of diseases on a regular basis.

Pak Thae Song, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Vice-Premier Jon Sung Guk, Minister of Public Health Choe Kyong Chol and officials concerned went round various places of the newly-built center on December 21.
