Agricultural Workers Move to New Houses in South Hamgyong Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- Agricultural workers at the Hungchon Farm of Jongphyong County in South Hamgyong Province of the DPRK moved to new dwelling houses. The intention of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) to turn the rural areas throughout the country into a paradise for the people is being translated into a brilliant reality in the DPRK.

Hundreds of new single-storied and terraced dwelling houses with all necessary living conditions and environment are the cradles of happiness built under the care of the motherly Party to provide the agricultural workers with richer and highly civilized life as soon as possible.

A celebration ceremony took place on December 20, attended by Ri Jong Nam, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials concerned, builders and agricultural workers who are to move to new houses.

Kim Yong Sik, chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People's Committee, made a congratulatory address and licenses for the use of the houses were handed over. Then followed by speeches.

Agricultural workers began moving to new houses in the villages filled with festive mood.

Officials congratulated the agricultural workers on moving to new houses, sharing joy with them.
