As the factory was remodeled, it could make contribution to the improvement of the people's dietary life by producing many more quality foodstuffs of various kinds with locally available raw materials.

Sin Yong Chol, chief secretary of the Rason Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, builders, employees of the factory and citizens of the municipality took part in the inauguration ceremony.

Sin Chang Il, chairman of the municipal people's committee, made an inauguration address.

After the ceremony, the participants looked round the factory.
