The construction of a large-scale stone-processing base with modern stone-processing equipment provided another solid foundation for further developing the country's building stone industry to meet the increasing demand for building-stone products.

The inauguration ceremony of the Ryonggang Building Stone Processing Factory took place on Friday.

Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly.

Attending it were Kim Jae Ryong, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Ri Jae Nam, chief secretary of the Nampho Municipal Committee of the WPK, So Jong Jin, minister of Construction and Building-Materials Industry, An Kyong Gun, minister of Machine-building Industry, officials concerned, builders and scientists, technicians and employees of the factory who contributed to the construction and working people in Nampho Municipality.

Vice-Premier Pak Hun made an inaugural address.

He called upon all officials and working people to unconditionally and steadily carry out the five-year plan set forth by the Party by keeping pace with the great patriotic footsteps of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
