The factory is a precious treasure of the country splendidly built as a new appearance under the wise leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and another proud creature in the era of the WPK.

An inauguration ceremony took place on the spot on December 22.

Present there was Premier Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK.

Also, attending it were Kim Chung Song, minister of Natural Resources Development, Kim Sung Jin, president of the State Academy of Sciences, Ri Tu Il, chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology, Kim Jong Nam, secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials of ministries and national institutions who contributed to the construction, researchers of the academy and employees of the factory.

Pak Jong Gun, vice-premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the State Planning Commission, made an inauguration address.

He stressed the need for all to make new miracles and innovations in the van of the struggle for opening up a broad avenue toward the building of a prosperous powerful nation with our resources and technology, true to the idea and guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
