Through the agreement with its American master, Japan decided to introduce the U.S.-made cruise missile Tomahawk in 2025 a year ahead of the set time.

Rodong Sinmun in a commentary Tuesday says that Japan, which styled itself a "pacifist state" so often, is now making desperate efforts to have the preemptive-strike capability and wide-range war capability wrapped in the "capability for counterattack".

This is a revelation of the ambition to meet the requirements of a military giant at an early date and start full-scale overseas aggression, the commentary says, and goes on:

The Japanese reactionaries are dealing with the neighboring countries with the sinister aim to become the leader of the region with the backing of the U.S.

Incurring the U.S. displeasure, Japan says that they put forward the Indo-Pacific strategy for the first time. And it worked hard to tighten the triangular military alliance with the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces and is making special efforts to "strengthen cooperation" with NATO. All these reckless acts reflect an unreasonable desire to stand in confrontation with neighboring countries by force of arms.

There is no longer a "pacifist state" professed by Japan.

The Japanese reactionaries, who created a war state on the grave of "pacifist state", are running amuck, not even thinking of the future.

As shown by the bloody war history of Japan, the war state running amuck will never last long.
